Day 01: Chennai
Upon arrival our representative will greet you at Chennai Airport/ Railway Station and then transfer to the hotel. Check-in and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Chennai – the gateway to southern India, established in 1639 by the East India Company, is one of the oldest cities of the country. The major tourist attractions are Marina Beach which is the second largest beach in the world. This stretch is filled with statues of remembrance from Tamil culture. Fort St. George which was built by the British East India Company in 1653, houses St Mary’s Church, the first British Church in Chennai and has a museum with a collection of British and French historical artifacts. San Thome Cathedral is the final resting place of the apostle St. Thomas who was killed just outside the city in 78 AD. This cathedral has been built by the Portuguese in a typical neo Gothic style between 14th and 15th century A.D. Snake Park houses a variety of rare reptiles, different species, including deadly king cobras, vipers, pythons, adders, kraits, giant turtles and monitor lizards.

Day 02: Chennai – Tirupati (152 kms.)
After breakfast. Later proceed to Tirupati. Reach & Check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Tirupati is located in the south-eastern part of Andhra Pradesh, in Chittoor district. It lies about 152-km northwest of Chennai in the Palkonda Hills. The town of Tirupati-Balaji is one of the most sacred places in India. It is famous for Lord Venkateshwara Deity. The name Tirupati-Balaji means the ‘Lord of Lakshmi’. The shrine is located on a hill at Tirumala.

Day 03: Tirupati

After breakfast. Later proceed for sight-seeing of Tirupati. Kapilatheertham, a sacred Tank a mile and a half distant from Tirupati where Lord Shiva is said to have blessed Sage Kapila with a vision of himself and his concert. Govindaraja Swamy Temple the temple is dedicated to Govindaraja Perumal in contradistinction of the Venkatachalapathi shrine at the top of the hill. There is also a famous tower called Galigopuram. Sri Kondandarama Swamy Temple, the spacious temple with imposing idols of Sri Rama, Lakshmana and Sita.
Other sightseeing places are: S.V. Zoological Park, Srinivasa Mangapuram, a small village, is about 12 km to the west of Tirupathi. Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple is located at this small village. Tiruchanur About 5 km from Tirupati Temple, Tiruchanur houses the renowned temple of Sri Padmavathi Devi (Goddess Lakshmi), the consort of Sri Venkateswara. It is believed that a visit to Tirupati temple is rewarding only after paying homage to Sri Padmavati Devi Temple. Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort.

Day 04: Tirupati – Pondicherry (317 kms.)
After breakfast. Later proceed to Pondicherry. Reach & check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Later proceed to take a ramble around Pondicherry. Pondicherry which offers a versatile choice ranging from historic buildings, museums, art galleries, meditation centers, scenic beauty to sun-kissed beaches. The trip to this magnificent destination is never complete without indulging in the culinary delights, indigenous to the region. The cuisines offer a unique blend of the culinary traditions of the Orient and the French.

Day 05: Pondicherry
After breakfast. Later proceed for sightseeing of Pondicherry. Aaayi Mandappam which is also known as the park Monument, is an attractive monument of Pondicherry government park (Bharathi Park). Sri Aurobindo Ashram which exhudes a spiritual aura, Sacred Heart Church which was built by French Missionaries in the 1700�s in a contrasting Neo�Gothic style with its towers. Chunnambar Beach & Backwater the tropical paradise flanked by a quiet flowing creek on one side. Matri Mandir which is not a temple but a place for individual silent concentration. Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort.

Day 06: Pondicherry – Mahabalipuram (130 kms.)
After breakfast. Later proceed to Mahabalipuram. Reach & check-in the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Later proceed for the sightseeing of Mahabalipuram such as Arjuna’s Penance, carved in relief on the face of a huge rock, Arjuna’s Penance is the mythical story of the river Ganges, issuing from its source, high in the Himalayas. The surface of the rock has detailed carvings showing the most endearing and natural renditions of animals. Mandapams (low rise, rock cut halls), Krishna Mandapam adorn massive rocks near the centre of the village. The beautiful Shore Temple towers over the waves, behind a protective breakwater. Sixteen man-made caves in different stages of completion are also seen. Shore Temples – These beautiful temples, ravaged by wind and sea, were given the World Heritage listing, a few years ago. The two spires of the temples contain a shrine for Lord Vishnu and for Lord Shiva.

Day 07: Mahabalipuram – Chennai (58 kms. – 01- hrs.)
